Our July Must Haves.
Are you feeling warmed up? July gave us Vitamin D in spades (and a few sneezes), but once the antihistamines kicked in, it’s been a joy to sit outside, sunglasses on, drink in hand. Here’s our completely non-expert round-up of the little things that made the month better.
The Trusty Fan
We had our July event on one of the hottest days this year so far, and despite the shady terrace, it was still very warm!! So it would be amiss of us to not do a little shout out to the trusty fans that kept us cool and made those warm evenings more enjoyable, and less sweaty!
Books, Box Sets, and a Bit of Escapism
Sometimes you need to switch off from work, from your phone, from group chats etc. And a good book or TV series isn’t just a distraction, it’s a reset button, and a good one at that.
She Shares Book Club
📚 The Satsuma Complex by Bob Mortimer – If you’ve ever cried laughing at him on TV, you’ll love his debut novel. Unexpectedly tender, offbeat, and full of Mortimer magic.
📚 Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan – A short but powerful read that lingers with you. Quiet, elegant, and completely absorbing.
📚 Echo Fort by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti – For romantasy fans, this is full of tension, secrets and strong female leads (obviously we love them). It’s the second in the series, and annoyingly, we’re hooked. Although, if you don't like an incomplete series, wait a while to grab this one as you're left wanting more...
What we're watching;
📺 We Were Liars – Emotional, atmospheric, and completely binge-worthy.
📺 The Summer I Turned Pretty (Series 3) – It’s soft, summery and just what we needed in this heat. Easy watching.
📺 1883 & 1923 – If you’re a Yellowstone fan, these prequels are the perfect follow-up. Gorgeous scenery, strong storylines, and lots of drama (both emotional and cowboy-related)...

Friendships
It's been a rollercoaster of highs and lows at She Shares HQ this month, in all aspects of life, and we've really counted on those we could turn to.
It's also made us appreciate the importance of She Shares and how we need the right people around us. You never know when you're about to meet another amazing friend, and no matter what anyone says, we don't believe you can have too many!
Flat sandals
As temperatures soar, the last thing you want is sweaty feet, grab those Birkenstocks, or the surprisingly chic M&S versions. Easy to wear, hard to beat, no more hot feet. (Yes I'm chuffed with that rhyme).
