Autumn Review: Monthly Must Haves

October felt like a little sprint and a big exhale all at once.
As we marked our first year of She Shares, we found ourselves looking back not in a look at us “we’re doing so well” kind of way (we promise we will stop going on about it) but in a “wow, you are all amazing” kind of way.
Look at us reflecting, how grown up, but let’s be honest, we probably won’t have time for that for another five years.

Ok, here’s what helped keep our vibe up this month:
Celebrity Traitors – Guilty pleasure turned ritual. This gave more than we could have hoped for. Top TV viewing, with Alan Carr's hilarity (actually we probably relate to his facial expressions more than anything), plus maybe the worst set of 'faithfuls'. It was frustratingly entertaining.
The rain came and she joined the dry robe 'ahem' club - her words! And to be honest, Katja wants one now. The rain seems to be a daily friend here in the UK so we're here for anything that keeps warm and dry.
Those single-use sachets saved us. Sleepless nights were an unwanted theme this month, so those little cooling beauties were amazing!!
Well, everything. This gorgeous company gifted some hand creams for our first birthday, which we fell in love with, and subsquently, went crazy online shopping. Their pillow mist. and calm balm are now firm favourites.
Taylor Swift – Whether you’re a die-hard Swiftie or a take-it-or-leave-it kind of fan, no one can deny this woman deserves a clap. She’s talented and she’s hardworking, and we have so much respect for that.
What we’re eyeing for November
Finishing Riot Women - a funny yet raw drama about 'midlife' women forming a punk band.
The best bit? It’s resonating with something real: female friendship and change. We feel seen.
Nobody Wants This - currently planning where we can fit this binge watch into our schedules.
Stranger Things, Season 5 - the final series is launching this month, we're not sure if we're excited or sad. But, it's been a fun journey.
We will also be snuggling down with an OLIV candle, a cosy blanket and reading some of these new releases;
Always Remember by Charlie Mackesy: A new book from the author of The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse
Nobody's Girl by Virginia Roberts Giuffre: A memoir about surviving abuse and fighting for justice. We feel like this definitely deserves a mention.
Brimstone by Callie Hart: If you like jumping into different worlds, with a magical mystery, and let's be honest, strong FMCs and attractive MMCs. This sequel to Quicksilver, will already be on your TBR list.
Where we'll be visiting...
You may have guessed it...Bramley's store opening in Bath is on our radar to visit. We're excited they're bringing their Botanical Magic to the city, just in time for cosy, relaxing season. If you're visiting for the Christmas markets - definitely stop in.
October brought a little glamour and loads of appreciation. November? We’re leaning into comfort, cosy and great conversations, with a few fireworks!
Thanks for being here. For reading. For liking. For sharing. For being you. And for making She Shares possible.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
