New & Noteworthy: The Space to Move
There’s something about walking into a space that’s been thoughtfully designed, you feel it straight away.
That’s exactly what happened when we stepped into The Space to Move, Chippenham’s brand-new Pilates and movement studio. Calm, light, beautifully created… it’s the kind of place that makes you want to roll out your mat before the class even begins.
At the heart of the studio is Millie, the lead instructor, and trust us when we say she’s fabulous. Millie has that rare mix of knowledge, warmth, and sharp eye for detail. Her cues are spot on, her energy fills the room, and she somehow manages to make you feel both challenged and supported in equal measure.
One of the biggest benefits? The studio has just six reformers. That means each class feels personal; no getting lost at the back, and always enough attention to make small tweaks that make a big difference.
The class timetable is varied too. Whether you’re dipping your toes into Reformer 1, rolling out for a classic Mat class, or fancy trying something different with a Tower class, there’s something to suit every mood and every stage of your Pilates journey. It’s a refreshing mix that makes it easy to build consistency without things feeling repetitive.

Classes are understandably in high demand, so it’s worth booking ahead to secure your spot.
As it’s a small, community-led studio, if you can’t make a class, do let them know,
there’s probably someone on the waiting list eager to jump in.
What we love most, though, is how The Space to Move feels more than just a place to work out. It’s the kind of space that gives you a pause in your day; time to focus, breathe, move, and walk away feeling that little bit taller (literally).
